Dating back to the Middle Ages, Home Farm started as exactly that, a farm.
Pigs, Sheep and Cattle go hand in hand with the daily routine here. Where the kitchen stands, corn was ground in a horse driven mill, Cattle were sheltered in the shop and hay was stored under the arches in the courtyard.
The Cafe building itself, and the tables, are built from Beech timber from the estate, dried for over twelve years. This building is the first of its kind in the Dales.
With the aid of a grant from Rural Development Programs in 2011, Berry's was born.
